The Microenterprise Assistance

assistance and access to business loans.
MAP targets entrepreneurs interested
in starting and owning their own businesss. Prospective entrepreneurs
must be at least 18 years of age. Owners of existing microenterprises
are eligible if they wish to expand their business.
Since space and funding for
the program are limited, selection will be competitive, based on eligibililty,
completion of the MAP Application, and follow-up interviews.
The 12-week educational program
covers all aspects of opening a small business.
We are fortunate to have Jim
Grillo, an experienced entrepreneur, as the instructor. Mr. Grillo
shares his experiences with the class, making the course interesting
and relevant.
